Palma Beach Resort & Spa UAQ is looking for exceptional talent to join our growing team:
Position: Reservations Agent cum Telephone Operator
Overview:
The Reservations Agent cum Telephone Operator is responsible for handling guest inquiries, managing reservations, and ensuring professional telephone communication while delivering excellent customer service.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong phone etiquette and clear communication skills
- Previous experience in reservations and customer service
- Knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS), preferably Opera
- Familiarity with OTA extranets such as Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, etc.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Previous hospitality industry experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Position: Security Officer
Overview:
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and property by enforcing safety procedures and monitoring premises.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in a security role, preferably in hospitality or commercial facilities
- Good observation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Knowledge of basic safety, fire, and emergency procedures
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Physically fit and able to work shifts, including nights and weekends
- Relevant security certification or license is an advantage
Position: Demi Chef de Partie – Hot Kitchen (Indian Cuisine)
Overview:
The Demi Chef de Partie assists in the daily operations of the hot kitchen, with a focus on Indian cuisine, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel or resort
- Professional chef training or completion of a kitchen apprenticeship
- Experience in Indian cuisine; exposure to Arabic cuisine is an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and preservation techniques
- Sound understanding of HACCP and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environment

Position: Junior Pastry and Bakery Chef
