HSE Officer
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with HSE policies and legal requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
- Identify hazards and implement corrective measures to prevent incidents
- Deliver safety training and awareness sessions to staff and subcontractors
- Maintain and update safety documentation, incident logs, and inspection reports
- Participate in accident investigations and implement root cause analysis
- Promote a safety-first culture across the organization
- Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory bodies as required
- Ensure proper usage of PPE and adherence to emergency procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in facilities management or construction
- NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
- In-depth knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards
- Strong observational, reporting, and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and safety management systems
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- UAE driving license is a plus
