Teaching Positions
High School Biology Teacher
English Teacher
Elementary English / Homeroom Teacher
Science Teacher
Math Teacher
Arabic Teacher (Non-Arabs)
Islamic Education Teacher (Non-Arabs)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject or education field
- B.Ed., PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent teaching qualification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in the UAE
- Experience teaching the American curriculum is preferred
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to use assessment, data analysis, and differentiation effectively
- MOE approval or UAE licensing status is an advantage
- IELTS requirements:
- English Teachers: Minimum score of 7.0
- Other subjects taught in English: Minimum score of 6.5
- Not required for Arabic and Islamic Education positions
Al Durrah School Sharjah Vacancies – Other Positions
English Teacher
Requirements:
- IELTS score of 7.5 or above
- UAE Equivalency for Bachelor’s Degree
- Diploma in Education (Level 7 or above)
- Bachelor’s degree in English Literature
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in English
Science Teacher (Primary)
Requirements:
- UAE Equivalency for Bachelor’s Degree
- Diploma in Education (Level 7 or above)
- Bachelor’s degree in Science
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in English
Biology Teacher / AP Biology
Requirements:
- UAE Equivalency for Bachelor’s Degree
- Diploma in Education (Level 7 or above)
- Bachelor’s degree in Science (Biology)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in English
High School English Teacher (Maternity Leave Cover)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English
- Previous teaching experience is preferred
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English
Head of Elementary Section
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Master’s in Education or Educational Leadership preferred)
- Valid Equivalency as per UAE Ministry of Education
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, including leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of the Primary/Elementary curriculum, with experience in American curriculum planning and student progress monitoring
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Head of Girls Section
- Head of Boys Section
Requirements
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree is mandatory
- Valid equivalency certificate as per UAE Ministry of Education requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in a UAE school
- Proven experience in academic supervision and staff management
KG ENGLISH TEACHER
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience in the UAE
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field, with equivalency as per SPEA requirements
- Strong English language proficiency
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
