You’ll join Boeing’s Global Enterprise Sustainability (GES) team to lead sustainability programmes across METACA and Europe, with a particular focus on METACA and Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and scale existing sustainability partnerships in METACA and Europe.
- Design and execute new regional programmes in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Co-lead the development of Boeing’s sustainability strategy for Africa, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide environmental goals.
- Promote the adoption and acceleration of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), carbon removal technologies, and book-and-claim systems across the region.
- Build strategic alliances with airlines, lessors, government entities, NGOs, and financiers to advance environmental goals.
- Represent Boeing at public engagements, industry events, and with policy-makers to advocate for climate initiatives.
- Support cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Communications, Technology, and Research.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Public Policy, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in environmental leadership, public policy, or sustainability in aviation or a related industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sustainability partnerships and events.
- In-depth knowledge of SAF, carbon offset mechanisms, and global sustainability standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diplomatically across cultures and sectors.
- Strong presentation and advocacy abilities.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional regional languages is a plus.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree or professional certification in project management (APM or equivalent).
Experience working in Africa or with African government and aviation stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regional regulatory and policy landscapes in sustainability and aviation.
