Host / Hostess
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Welcome: Greet guests warmly and professionally, manage waiting lists, and escort guests while ensuring a positive and lasting first impression.
- Seating Coordination: Oversee reservations and table allocation to maintain balanced service flow and optimize the dining room.
- Guest Care: Anticipate guest needs, communicate preferences or special occasions to the service team, and support a personalized experience.
- Communication: Work closely with the floor team and management to provide accurate updates on table readiness, reservations, and service priorities.
- Presentation & Standards: Maintain an immaculate host stand and professional presence, reflecting the elegance expected in a fine dining environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar host/hostess or guest-facing role within fine dining or an upscale restaurant is preferred.
