HR Assistant – EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)

ABOUT THE ROLE
Little Diamond Nursery is seeking a motivated, organised HR Assistant to join its Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting. This role is ideal for an Emirati professional looking to build a career in Human Resources within the education sector, while benefiting from a flexible hybrid or remote working environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support day-to-day HR administrative tasks and documentation
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding of nursery and support staff
- Maintain accurate employee records and staff files in compliance with EYFS and regulatory requirements
- Track staff attendance, leave, and HR reports
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Respond to staff HR-related queries in a professional and confidential manner
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field
- Previous HR experience (nursery or school setting preferred)
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems
- Ability to multitask in a busy early-years environment
- Professional, positive, and confidential work approach
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an EYFS environment
- Understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 (advantage)

Role Overview
The EYFS Class Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons in both English and Arabic, creating a warm and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver EYFS-aligned lessons in English and Arabic
- Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and development
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Maintain classroom routines, safety standards, and positive behaviour
- Participate in training sessions, events, and team meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education / Education or equivalent
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an EYFS or nursery setting
- Strong command of English and Arabic (spoken and written)
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practices
- Warm, patient, and child-focused teaching approach
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment
- UAE experience preferred (not mandatory)
