Key Responsibilities – IT Admin Job in Dubai
As the IT Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting and managing the company’s technology infrastructure. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing Windows/Linux servers and local/wide area networks (LAN/WAN)
- Troubleshooting system errors and providing technical support to staff
- Installing and updating software, hardware, routers, firewalls
- Ensuring daily data backups and disaster recovery systems are in place
- Monitoring system performance and handling service interruptions
- Coordinating with external vendors and IT service providers
- Managing IT security: antivirus, firewalls, and access control
- Maintaining inventory and technical documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support, system admin, or network admin roles
- Hands-on knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting and technical support
- Experience with cloud services, backup systems, and cyber security
- Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or relevant field
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Must be currently in the UAE or ready to relocate to Dubai
