Planning Manager

General Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies
- Knowledge of project management practices
- Experience with ongoing projects, including buildings and villas across the UAE
Intermass Engineering & Contracting Company LLC Dubai Vacancies
Sr. Technical Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews and understands contract documents (specifications, drawings, BOQ, etc.) and raises RFIs for design clarifications when required
- Advises the Project Manager and Construction Manager on technical matters
- Ensures technical submittals meet project requirements and schedules
- Coordinates and manages technical issues and submittals with subcontractors and suppliers (civil and MEP)
- Prepares and submits materials and technical documentation (calculations, tests, etc.)
- Arranges, coordinates, and submits shop drawings; guides draftsmen in preparation
- Provides technical support for construction and QC teams in method statement preparation
- Follows up with consultants and clients to obtain approvals
- Manages engineering logs in coordination with planning and project teams
- Prepares and submits as-built drawings as per contract requirements
- Reviews, records, and evaluates contract changes and prepares reports
- Supports project goals through meetings, correspondence, and reporting
- Reviews baseline programs and engineering submission sequences with planning engineers
- Conducts coordination meetings with subcontractors for engineering submissions
- Initiates technical meetings with consultants to resolve issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- Minimum 10 years of construction experience within UAE/GCC
- Proven experience on large-scale projects with reputed organizations
- Strong ability to build relationships with consultants and authorities
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Detail-oriented and meticulous working style
- FIDIC and contract-related certifications are an advantage
Sr. Planning Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares programs of work using latest planning software to meet contract requirements
- Develops resource-loaded schedules and monitors site activities throughout construction
- Updates programs and issues look-ahead schedules
- Reviews subcontractor baseline schedules in line with project standards
- Prepares and submits KPIs and monthly reports to clients and management
- Analyzes project delays and assesses potential claims
- Identifies risks, critical activities, and recommends mitigation strategies
- Coordinates with project management teams on planning matters
- Prepares recovery programs for delayed activities and submits for approval
- Prepares and submits Extension of Time (EOT) claims
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- Minimum 10 years of construction experience within UAE/GCC
- Proven experience on large-scale projects with reputed organizations
- Strong proficiency in planning tools and scheduling methodologies
- Analytical thinking with high attention to accuracy and efficiency
- Problem-solving mindset with a methodical approach
- Detail-oriented working style
- PMP certification is an advantage
