Fit-Out / Retrofit Project Manager

Hiring is open for a Fit-Out / Retrofit Project Manager with a strong passion for refurbishment, retrofitting, and reconstruction projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in civil estimation with a hands-on approach to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates, timelines, and resource allocations for refurbishment, renovation, and reconstruction projects.
Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and site conditions to prepare comprehensive quantity take-offs.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for compliance, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with project goals.
Identify cost risks, recommend value engineering options, and propose cost-saving initiatives.
Prepare and present competitive bid proposals, budget reports, and tender submissions.
Maintain an organized database of vendor quotations, supplier contacts, and historical project data.
Coordinate closely with stakeholders throughout both the pre- and post-contract phases.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 13 years of experience in civil estimation, especially in refurbishment and retrofit projects.
Strong understanding of UAE construction methods, pricing, and local authority regulations.
Proficiency in estimation tools and software.
Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills.
Site execution experience is an added advantage.
Excellent English communication skills; bilingual candidates are preferred.

Preferred Attributes:

Professionals with both estimation and site execution experience will be given preference.
Familiarity with interior renovations, structural retrofits, ADNOC minor projects, and building upgrades.
Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
Strong knowledge of UAE tendering regulations and construction compliance standards.
Having a robust industry network within the Fit-Out sector is a significant advantage.
