FIREX UAE Careers – Latest Vacancies in Sharjah August 2025
Emirates Firefighting Equipment Factory, or FIREX UAE, is hiring for the following roles in Sharjah:
1️⃣ Design Engineer / Draughtsman – Electrical Systems
Experience: 4–5 years in the fire protection field
Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Design of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting (central battery and central monitoring), voice evacuation, fire telephone, and PAVA systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and other fire protection design software
- Strong communication skills in English and high attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of value engineering and minimum design requirements for life safety systems
- Familiarity with LUX calculations and SPL (Sound Pressure Level) calculations is an added advantage
- Responsible for preparing accurate shop drawings within specified deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience in UAE/Gulf projects with a working knowledge of the UAE Fire & Life Safety Code
2️⃣ Design Engineer / Draughtsman – Mechanical Systems
Experience: 2–5 years (UAE/Gulf experience preferred)
Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Design of comprehensive fire protection systems, including:
- Sprinkler systems
- Fire fighting and fire hydrant systems
- Clean agent systems (FM200 / Novec1230)
- Water spray deluge systems
- Foam deluge systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and similar design software
- Strong English communication skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of value engineering and minimum design requirements for firefighting systems
- Understanding of hydraulic and gas flow calculations is a plus
- Preparation of accurate shop drawings within project deadlines
- Capable of independent work and effective team collaboration
- Familiarity with UAE Fire & Life Safety Code and experience in regional projects
3️⃣ Estimation Engineer – Mechanical / Electrical Systems
Experience: 2–7 years (depending on role level)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Estimation of fire protection systems including:
- Sprinkler systems
- Fire fighting and fire hydrant systems
- Clean agent systems (FM200 / Novec1230)
- Water spray deluge and foam deluge systems
- High attention to detail and effective English communication
- Expertise in value engineering and understanding of minimum requirements for estimation
- Review and validation of client documentation including drawings and specifications
- Responsible for preparing accurate, timely cost estimates ensuring project efficiency and adherence to budgets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in UAE/Gulf markets with sound knowledge of the UAE Fire & Life Safety Code
