Al Shamsi Holdings Job Position: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Dubai, UAE
Industry: Retail / Fashion / Lifestyle
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team across multiple facilities
- Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues or required repairs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and service schedules
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Liaise with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and spare parts
- Provide training and support to junior maintenance staff
- Report regularly to the Facilities or Operations Manager on maintenance status
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Familiarity with health and safety standards and regulations
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Maintenance (Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
- UAE experience preferred
