Al Ghurair Exchange – Application Administrator Hiring
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer & maintain core money exchange applications (currency trading platforms, transaction processing systems)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, ensure high availability & reliability
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions in line with company security policies
- Support integration with banking systems, CRM, AML/KYC tools, compliance platforms
- Coordinate with vendors, developers, and infrastructure teams for upgrades, patches, fixes
- Maintain documentation: configuration standards, change logs, system manuals
- Assist with internal/external audits, compliance reviews, generate system reports
- Provide training and technical support to internal teams (operations, finance, etc.)
- Implement data backup and recovery procedures in liaison with IT infrastructure
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in application administration or IT support (preferably in financial services or currency exchange)
- Strong hands-on experience with system/application administration
- Good knowledge of financial regulation (AML, KYC, data privacy)
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, scripting, query writing
- Familiarity with application monitoring tools, incident management, performance tuning
- Excellent problem-solving skills; analytical thinking
- Strong communication skills to interface with IT, operations, finance, compliance
- Thorough documentation skills, strong attention to detail
