Job Summary:
The Category Manager is responsible for driving category performance, maximizing profitability, and strengthening supplier partnerships within the assigned portfolio. The role requires strong commercial negotiation skills and in-depth retail market knowledge, particularly within hypermarket operations.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Category Manager – Food or Category Manager – Non-Food.
  • Experience within a retail hypermarket or related industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and commercial skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior.

Primary Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Identify category gaps and introduce new assortments aligned with market trends and customer demand.
  • Onboard and manage new and existing suppliers in line with category strategy.
  • Lead Business Development Agreement (BDA) negotiations to secure improved commercial terms, higher margins, rebates, listing fees, marketing support, and favorable payment terms.
  • Negotiate strong promotional deals and special offers to drive sales growth and increase customer footfall.
  • Achieve monthly income targets through supplier rebates, promotional support, listing fees, and other trade agreements.
  • Monitor category performance, analyze sales data, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

3. GRAPHIC DESIGNER

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably within a retail hypermarket or related industry
  • Experience using AI-based design tools will be a strong advantage
  • Strong creative skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software
