Job Purpose
The School Operations Manager will oversee all operational services at the campus level, ensuring that delivery is smooth, compliant, and cost-effective. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Operations and working closely with the Principal, key functions include procurement, facilities, Health & Safety, events, ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance), shared services, regulatory readiness, and contributing to school improvement plans through cross-functional coordination.
Key Accountabilities
- Staff management across operational services
- Procurement and contract management
- Health & Safety oversight
- Planning and management of events and excursions
- Facilities management and campus development
- Ensuring compliance and readiness with regulations
- ESG initiatives and energy conservation efforts
- Shared services and IT end-user support
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or relevant operational qualification; NEBOSH and IOSH certifications preferred
- Experience: 3-5 years in operations roles, ideally in the education / facilities / service-driven environments
- Competencies:
• Multi-service operations coordination
• Vendor & contract oversight
• Health, safety & compliance leadership
• Budget awareness & procurement control
• Strong cross-functional problem solving & crisis response - Attributes:
• Calm, highly organized, accountable
