Job Position: Deputy Chief Procurement Officer
This high-impact leadership role is designed for a strategic, experienced procurement professional who can optimize procurement operations, align project deliveries with business goals, and drive results across complex real estate and infrastructure projects.
🔧Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
- Manage large-scale procurement packages aligned with timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Lead contract negotiations, supplier management, and ensure ESG compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across planning, engineering, and legal teams.
- Ensure adherence to UAE procurement laws, company procedures, and compliance standards.
- Drive vendor selection and performance reviews for high-value development projects.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team for optimal performance and growth.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- CIPS certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Minimum 12 years of procurement experience within the UAE real estate and construction sectors.
- Prior experience with top-tier UAE developers is mandatory.
- Strong capabilities in negotiation, leadership, supplier management, and risk mitigation.
